I am deeply honored to serve as your President of the South Asian Public Health Association (SAPHA). I would like to thank our amazing Board members: Yousra Yusuf, Priya Thaker, Shibani Ray-Mazumder, Shipra Singh, Syed Shahrukh Hashmi, Simran Kaur, Saman Aziz, Trushna Rao and Samira Khan, for their dedication and leadership.

In 2019 SAPHA continues our work in education and awareness, advocacy, partnership building, diversity and inclusion, as well as research and scholarship to advance the health of South Asians in USA. On behalf of SAPHA Board, I strongly urge you to continue to participate and share your ideas with us, and to invite your colleagues to join SAPHA.
